Eating the Garment District!

From rooftops with amazing views to endless amounts of eateries, coffee shops, and bars, the Garment District has quickly become one of the hottest areas in NYC. I was recently in the area to try some new food spots, Check out my yummy day below!

Trademark Taste & Grind. (Breakfast) Located in the luxury boutique Hotel Le Soleil, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I wanted to check out their breakfast menu and boy was that a good decision! Here we have the vegetable frittata, yogurt with sweet n’ salty granola and seasonal fruit, and last but not least the everything latkes with smoked salmon.

Wok to Walk. (Lunch) Delicious, compact counter-serve eatery with made-to-order stir-fries, including vegan & vegetarian options. All orders are custom made with fresh nutritious ingredients via a three-step menu. You simply choose (1) choose your base (noodles, rice, etc), (2) choose your favorites (meat, veggies, etc), and (3) choose your sauce. It’s as simple as that and all orders are ready in five minutes!

Madman Espresso. (Coffee) Walking around the Garment District can be tiring, so you’ll surely need a pit stop at some point before dinner. Madmen Espresso offers some strong coffee as well as delicious pastries. Perfect place to unwind and relax.

Ortzi. (Dinner) Warmly lit restaurant serving Basque country cuisine – focusing mostly on delicious meat and seafood dishes in hot pots. Also try their tapas, huge selection of wines or yummy cocktails! Best way to end a long day in the Garment District!
