New York already has one of the more impressive skylines that you will ever see, but what can we expect it to transform into over the next several years? Creative agency Visualhouse recently engineered imagery of what NY’s cityscape is projected to look like by 2030, although many of the upcoming building projects should be completed before then.
The major eye-catching additions will be coming to Manhattan’s 57th Street, as it will soon be housing the tallest buildings in the western hemisphere. At least three of the forthcoming structures will stand taller than One World Trade Center. This collection of buildings on 57th will also be the largest in terms of bulk when looking at the New York skyline.
While numerous projects depicted in the photos above will be completed well before 2030, there are also some structures that have been omitted from the imagining.
