I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. Additionally, Happy Easter to those who are celebrating. I wanted to try something different this week so I decided to post on a Sunday. Let’s see how this goes, and maybe I’ll post more often on weekends.
So this shoot wraps up our collaboration with Stacy Adams that you may have already seen here and here. For this set, we decided to shoot in the Forest Hills Gardens in Queens, NY. If you’re not familiar with this area, it is one of America’s oldest planned communities, fashioned after a traditional English village. It is modeled after the English planned garden suburb community Hampstead Garden Suburb, located near Golders Green, in London. Definitely a great spot for photography that we plan on shooting more at this summer.
I wanted to keep it simply so I just threw on my grey Stafford suit, with no belt, and white button down. Only real color seen here is the pop of green and purple coming from my pocket square. As far as the shoes go, I have on the Steade by Stacy Adams, in brown. With these shoes, I like the durable hard bottom as well as the brogue toe detail. What do you all think about this look?
