Turtleneck sweaters have been around for a while now, but it’s only recently that I’ve started wearing/experimenting with them. Turtlenecks are super versatile as they can be worn in most offices settings or even formal occasions. This is because you can easily layer them underneath suits, blazers, trench coats, or overcoats. For more casual occasions, I recommend pairing them with slim jeans or chinos.
Here, I’m wearing a knit, Uniqlo turtleneck. These sweaters are made with high-tech heattech fibers which provide exceptional warmth. I’ve layered it under a mini-check Zara blazer. I think there is something very sophisticated and effortless about the turtleneck-blazer combo. During extra cold days, just throw an overcoat on top of this combo and you should be good to go.
Also, I would suggest sticking to a turtle neck with a slimmer neck, avoid the chunkier collars so you maintain a clear division between head and body, a tighter neckline will also frame your neck more and ensure your head doesn’t look like its just been stuck on.
